“Major Success” for the Shipping Industry in Cyprus

On the 17th December 2019, the European Commission  reapproved the Cypriot Tonnage Tax System for another 10 years.

The Director of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Mr. Thomas Kazakos described the extension as a “Major Success” for the Shipping Industry in Cyprus  “ensuring viability and competitiveness of Cyprus in International Shipping.”

Indeed this is major victory which will help the shipping industry expand even further.
