Cyprus – Company Registry Update Campaign

On 27 August 2025, the Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property made an announcement urging all registered companies to review and update their corporate data.

Accordingly, all registered companies are expected to review and update their corporate details in accordance with current legislation to enhance data accuracy and ensure compliance with the provisions of the Companies Law.

Public Companies are reminded that, although they are not required to submit Form HE57 for share transfers or shareholder changes, they must still file their annual reports. This is essential for keeping the shareholders’ registry up to date.

Non-compliance may result in repercussions as outlined in Chapter 113 of the Companies Law.

Companies are urged to act promptly and ensure their records are current.
