Cyprus – Companies without Postal Codes will be Stricken-Off from the Registry
On 24 January 2024, the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property (the Registrar) announced that all registered companies with the Registrar should verify and update their registered office addresses, including postal codes, in the registry.
This update is crucial to ensure that companies receive all necessary information and reminders, such as submissions of the annual return form HE32 with Financial Statements. Companies that fail to update their addresses may not receive important correspondence, especially regarding compliance campaigns.
Non-compliance will result in the issuance of a three-month notice as per the Companies Law Cap 113. On expiration of the three month notice the company will be stricken off from the registry.
