Recovery of Real Estate Market in Cyprus – Nicosia takes the lead
According to the statistical data “Contract of Sale 2020-2021” published by the Department of Land and Survey, the Pancyprian total number of registered contract of sales for the year 2021 increased by a 28% in total compared to the year 2020 same period.
In April 2021, Pancyprian total number of sales increased by a record number 285% compared to April 2020.
The capital city Nicosia has the highest level of increase with sales up by 59% in total, and in April 2021, sales up by 503% compared to April 2020. Nicosia is followed by;
- Limassol with sales up by 37% for year 2021 in total and 306% in April 2021,
- Famagusta with sales up by 19% for year 2021 in total and 360% in April 2021, and
- Larnaca with sales up by 14% for year 2021 in total and 463% in April 2021.
The city of Paphos saw a decrease of – 5%.
