Employees of Companies of Foreign Interests
The company must be approved as a Company of Foreign Interest by the Business Facilitation Unit (BFU) and be registered with the Cyprus Residency and Migration Department.
Provisions for the employment of highly skilled third-country nationals;
- A minimum monthly gross salary of €2500 shall be paid
- The employee must hold a university degree, or diploma, or equivalent qualification, or certificates, or minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a corresponding employment position
- The duration of the employment contract shall not be less than two years
The scheme provides for Family reunification right for third-country nationals who are already employed, and obtained work and residency permits under the Business Facilitation Unit with a gross minimum salary of €2500.
