Prolongation of Settlement of Tax Arrears for the Tax Periods up until 31.12.2015

The Procedures of Settlement of Tax Arrears (Amending) Law (L. 11(I)/2020) was entered into effect on the 14/2/2020.

The above mentioned law makes provisions for all tax arrears for the periods up until 31/12/2015:

• Tax arrears already recorded in the Registry of the Cypriot Tax Department can be paid in installments up until the 14/8/2020.
• In the situation where there was no filing of Tax Returns for periods up until the 31/12/2015 then the relevant returns can be filed up until the 30/6/2020.

In the situation where there is a delay of payment of up to 5 installments then the aforementioned settlement scheme is automatically cancelled.
